Our Workshop FAQs

  • We find small groups of up to 6 participants keep things supportive and hands-on.

  • Most workshops run for up to 3 hours.

    Activities are generally completed in shorter 30–45-minute blocks, allowing flexibility based on support needs and comfort.

    Participants are welcome to take breaks or leave earlier if needed.

  • No, workshops are designed to be for beginners and easy to follow.

  • Yes. Participants who require 1:1 support are encouraged to attend with their own support worker, carer or a family member.

  • Yes, depending on individual support needs and able to be in a group environment.

  • Yes, self-managed or plan-managed participants may be able to use their funding to access the workshops where suitable for their goals.

    This may fall under supports such as Increased Social & Community Participation or Improved Daily Living, depending on individual circumstances. 

  • Yes. You do not need an NDIS plan to attend our workshops. Our programs are open to community participants.

    Participants can self-fund their attendance, and if you are linked with an organisation or support provider, they may also be able to assist with accessing workshops through group programs or community supports.

  • At this stage our focus is on small-group workshops, as this helps keep programs more affordable while also supporting social connection.

    Participants who require individual support are welcome to attend with their own support worker.

  • We want workshops to feel welcoming and low-pressure, and participants can engage at their own comfort level.

  • Participants are welcome to take breaks or leave early if needed.

    Workshop places, materials, and preparation are organised in advance, so fees still apply to the booked session.

  • We understand sensory needs can vary, and we’ll do our best to create calm, supportive and comfortable environments where possible.

  • All materials and workshop resources are provided.

  • If you can no longer attend, please let us know as early as possible.

    As workshops involve preparation, materials, and limited places, cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations or non-attendance.

  • No, we currently work with self-managed and plan-managed participants and plan on registering as a provider in future if it is required.

  • We’d love to connect with organisations interested in supporting participants or running small-group programs together.

  • Yes, we’re happy to discuss different group needs, support requirements and workshop outcomes.
